Fuel included in displayed totals: Regular charter + fuel: 2 hours $500 + $25 = $525; 3 hours $650 + $25 = $675; 4 hours $800 + $25 = $825; 6 hours $975 + $25 = $1,000; 8 hours $1,275 + $25 = $1,300. September charter + fuel totals: $425, $525, $625, $875 and $1,175 respectively. Do not add another $25 to the displayed prices. Existing bookings and agreed quotes are honoured without a new surcharge.
Short trips: Two- and three-hour experiences are offered in select morning or evening windows.

Understand your charter price
Comparing fishing charter costs on Vancouver Island? Start with the group size, hours aboard and inclusions—not just the headline price.
The rates above cover the entire private boat for up to four guests. Your group is not combined with strangers. Bringing fewer guests does not turn the published boat rate into a per-person fare. To work out a shared cost, divide the applicable boat price by the number of people in your group; this is a budgeting calculation, not a separately bookable seat.
Fishing equipment, instruction, and cleaning and bagging of legally retained fish are supplied. Breakfast sandwiches and a BBQ lunch are included on the eight-hour charter. Guests arrange their own required fishing licences and any required salmon stamp. Ask about food and drinks for other trip lengths and confirm the final total, including any applicable taxes or agreed extras, with Randy before paying a deposit.
Two or three hours: a short coastal outing around other plans, in select morning or evening windows. Four hours: a focused local fishing trip for a family, beginner or experienced group. Six hours: more flexibility to respond to conditions without spending a full day aboard. Eight hours: the most time to explore available opportunities, with the full-day meals included. More time provides flexibility, not a guaranteed catch.

No. Send your dates, group size and preferred duration first. Randy confirms availability and booking details personally. A booking is confirmed when Live Life Coastal accepts it and receives the required 50% deposit. Read the deposit, transfer and cancellation terms before committing.
