Six- and eight-hour charters give Randy more time to respond to conditions and explore available opportunities. Tell him about your group’s experience and interests before choosing.
Where do we meet, and how do we reserve a date?
Charters depart from Sunshine Beach Marina in Nanoose Bay, between Parksville and Nanaimo. The exact meeting location, parking instructions and departure time are provided when your trip is confirmed. Send your preferred dates and group size, or text Randy at 250-703-6532. An inquiry is not a confirmed booking; Randy confirms availability and the deposit details with you.

Two- and three-hour trips can suit visitors fitting an outing around golf, dinner or family plans, but are offered in select departure windows. Tell Randy when you need to be back before choosing a trip. Allow time for your journey to Nanoose Bay, meeting at the dock and getting ready; do not assume your hotel departure time is the boat departure time.
What if our family has never been fishing?
Beginners and families are welcome, with instruction tailored to the group. Include children's ages, fishing experience and any mobility or comfort concerns in your inquiry so Randy can discuss suitability before you book. For a group with different interests, ask whether a shorter coastal outing or a fishing-focused half day is the better fit.
Where should we go on the day?
The departure marina is Sunshine Beach Marina in Nanoose Bay—not Parksville beach or a hotel pickup point. Confirmed guests receive the exact meeting, parking and departure instructions. Arrange your travel around those instructions and contact Randy if your plans change.
What should we pack?
Bring warm layers, weatherproof outerwear, non-slip footwear, sunglasses, sunscreen and personal medication. Arrange the fishing licence and any required stamp before departure if fishing, and leave a cooler in your vehicle for any legal retained catch. Ask about food and drinks for your selected trip.
